“You’re such a beautiful boy, Chrisaki mou,” she replied. “You’re going to catch Zeus’s eye with all that beauty… he won’t be able to resist getting a better look at you.”
Chris snorted a laugh. “What?”

Step right up to the modern freakshow — We have mermaids, monsters, and more. You won't be disappointed, but you may not get out alive.

What is UnCommon Bodies?
UnCommon Bodies presents a collection of 20 beautifully irreverent stories which blend the surreal and the mundane. Together, the authors explore the lives of the odd, the unbelievable, and the impossible. Imagine a world where magic exists, where the physical form has the power to heal or repulse, where a deal with the devil means losing so much more than your soul.

In Her Image by Vasil Tuchkov: An English PHD student arrives at the scenic but haunting countryside of Matera, Italy, looking for answers. She has all the skills, but she needs a job, she needs some friends, and she needs to remember who she is. Part 1 of the Cyborg Story trilogy.

Don't Touch Me by Bey Deckard: Fighting is what Beau does best, because the very thing he dreads is exactly what lends him the extraordinary strength to defeat even the worst odds. And he does it all with the help of his angel, the woman he longs desperately to hold...but can't.

Three Poems by Deanne Charlton: Brenga's Body, Eternity in a One-night Stand, It Runs in the Family

Michael Wootten sits upon the porch of his dilapidated house and watches a caravan of trucks pull into town. Melvin Mitchell Presents: Ruby and her Amazing FreakShow Friends. Maybe this is just the thing to pump a little spirit into the near-dead town. But everything comes at a price, and Ms. Ruby always takes her cut.

UnTamed by Laxmi Hariharan: Wolf girl Leana Iyeroy, the first hybrid in her family, only ever wanted to be 100% human. An unexpected encounter with the Hugging Saint of Bombay forces Leana to face the wolf inside her. Will she finally make peace with herself?

Made for This by Sessha Batto: On the heels of unimaginable loss comes reinvention. Sometimes the gain is worth going through hell.

The Zealot by Christopher Godsoe: Six months ago, Tobin Maldovan was in charge of a manhunt for an enigmatic hacker named ATLAS. He lost his man near the Canadian border after a high speed chase, but not before ATLAS pulled strings to transfer the woman Tobin loves across the country, hampering any chance at reconciliation. With ATLAS having escaped his jurisdiction, Tobin had nothing left but to follow his wife to California, seeking reassignment at the West Coast cyberterrorism field office. His reputation precedes him, and he has drawn the case pursuing a man the media has taken to calling "The Zealot." As usual, Tobin pours himself into his work, but the work becomes personal in ways that he never would have imagined.

The Well-Rounded Head by Sally Basmajian: A woman is smitten with her husband's big, entirely round head. One day she notices that his temples appear to be slightly indented, so that his head is no longer a perfect sphere. This revolts her, and she moves into their guest room in order to avoid him. When he breaks in, she kills him, in a most bizarre way.

Reserved by SM Johnson: It's been five years since the accident that killed Pete Spencer's younger lover and left him grieving, bitter, and broken. He's tired of his lonely world, but the kind of young men he's attracted to dismiss him the moment their eyes land on his cane. Pete's learned to hide behind the safety of his reserve, but he's never met anyone like Rory.

Scars: First Session by Jordanne Fuller: It takes years to beat a strong woman into submission. It has to start somewhere. After a life of abuse, Abigail made the decision to cover her scars with tattoos. What she didn't expect was to confront her emotional scars in the process.

Wow that does sound awesome! Where do I buy it or read reviews?

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! You can read all the glowing reviews over at Amazon before you buy it for Kindle and order a paperback or you can head over to Goodreads and read more wonderful reviews :D

F.I.S.T.S. Handbook For Individual Survival in Hostile Environments

The F.I.S.T.S. Handbook.... what is it?

It is a book that contains both Sarge, Murphy, and a tiny "missing reel". There are three versions of it.

The Full-Colour edition has colour images of the covers inside, as well as a few extra images just for fun. It retails for $22 USD at Amazon and other places. Which is hella expensive, I know, for a 145 page book, but at that price I make a buck and change in royalties. If I can find somewhere else to get it printed for cheaper, I will, but for the moment that's how it stands.

However, if you're buying it thinking that there's going to be a whole lot of extra content... there isn't. I consider it sort of a "collector's copy" - I want a copy for myself. The missing reel is just extra, but it's not a full scene, and it's not intended to add to the story. Just give a peek into how the relationship took off. I will also be offering signed copies this version.

If you just want a print version with the two novelettes (and the missing reel) but don't care about colour images, then the second version is for you:

The Black & White edition has black and white images of the covers inside and no extra images. It retails for $8 USD at Amazon and other places.

If you don't want a print version but would like to have the two novelettes (and the missing reel) in electronic format, the third version is for you:

The kindle version is an e-copy of the full-colour edition. It retails for $4 USD.

If you already own both S&M and just want the reel, send me an email at bey dot deckard at gee mail dot com

⭐⭐ Murphy (F.I.S.T.S. #2) Available Now ⭐⭐

murphy-cover-600x900My follow-up novelette, Murphy, is available now at Amazon (free with Kindle Unlimited). I'm giving the ol' KDP Select (where you are exclusive to Amazon in return for being enrolled in their promotions and KU) a go for now, just to get an understanding of what it is. So, for the moment, it's only available for Kindle (mobi). The upside is that you can convert mobi files to anything else using apps like Calibre or read mobi on just about anything with the free Kindle app.

In addition to Murphy being released this month, I'm working on a special full-colour print book that includes Sarge and Murphy plus a very short scene I'm calling "The Missing Reel". I'm not sure if I'm going to do an e-copy of it just yet.

So... want to read a little about Murphy? Check out these blog reviews:

And these Amazon reviews:

"Deckard has honed his craft to a fine point, making the F.I.S.T.S. space adventure the juiciest m/m read I've had in ages." - Varlo

"Murphy was a smart and sexy book - deeply satisfying on every level." - FIFI

The First Review of Murphy at The Blogger Girls!

JustJen says:

I just love when I read a follow up story and hearing the characters’ voices brings back all the memories of what I loved from the first book. Murphy and Sarge definitely did that for me here.

Aside from a new leg and some upgraded parts, it is the same Murphy and the same Sarge, doing what they do best, in all their glory. This is classified as BDSM, but they really have more of a DS and power exchange than any kind of traditional BDSM relationship. At this point, they are even more comfortable in their relationship as they now prepare for their next mission. The chapters switch between each character so that we get to see things from both perspectives. I absolutely love their dialog and the way they each speak. I smiled so many times at little things they said that make each stand out so distinctly.

Coming soon, to an estore near you…

Just finished writing Murphy, F.I.S.T.S. #2. *lifts mug of wine* Cheers!

Look for it in an estore soon. I'll also be making a special edition print copy with both Sarge and Murphy novellettes included. :)

Review, Excerpt, and Giveaway of Sarge at The Smutsonian

Shurrn says: "Sure, the alien planet might be unbearably hot, but the setting barely holds a candle to the heat being generated between our main characters…

You will not believe the amount of brilliance crammed into this little book – This short story combines so many amazing elements it will make your head spin – the fact that the author managed to write such a complex tale in a short amount of space while allowing for seamless continuity and perfect pacing is nothing short of astounding."

Read more of this review as well as an excerpt, an interview with me, and a chance to win one of two e-copies of Sarge.

multitaskingmomma gives Sarge 4 out of 4 stars!

"The style of Deckard is raw, heart wrenching, heartwarming, brutal, forceful and just a fantastic great read. The action is action, the sex is sex, the eroticism not something to miss, and the stories? Well, they are pretty amazing."

Wondering which retailer pays me the most?

#1 is Payhip. Not a retailer, but an online shop that I've set up myself. This is where I make the most return on my books.

Then after that it gets a little complicated, but these are the three best choices:

At Eden Books*, I make 70% royalties for all titles.

At Smashwords, I make 60% royalties for all titles.

At Amazon, for books OVER $2.99 (USD) I make 70% royalties and for books UNDER $2.99 I make 35%

So... if the book is under $2.99, buy from Eden Books or Smashwords.

If the books is over $2.99, buy from Eden Books or Amazon.

But best of all, buy from my Payhip store :)

Questions? Contact Me!

*Not all my titles are available at Eden yet as of 25/09/23 - I'm working on it.
