Just for fun, I've taken Caged, Sacrificed, and Fated off the digital shelves everywhere but Amazon and signed them up for KDP Select—that means, starting today (Dec 01), you can read them with your subscription to Kindle Unlimited. Why? Just curious to see how they will do there.
Yes, you can still purchase them outright from Amazon and the paperbacks are available at other places, as well as Amazon. I'll regroup after the 90 days are up and see if exclusivity is worth it. :)

I’ve been trying to figure out why I couldn’t buy Sacrificed and Fated for my Nook after Christmas, and I guess this explains it! Even if you decide not to re-list at Barnes and Noble, would you consider listing them again somewhere those of us without Kindles can still purchase them?

So, Amazon has this Kindle Unlimited thing—kind of a Netflix for books as I understand—but to have your books included in the program, you can’t sell them elsewhere. You’re locked into an exclusivity period for the duration. But the rub is that this exclusivity clause only applies to self-published books. Nice, right?
So the short of it is yes, I would love to sell them everywhere, but for the moment I can’t unless Amazon changes their policy.
Honestly, I’m not sure I will take them out of the program once the three month period is over. From a purely business standpoint, the books earn more via KU… for the time being.
Where does that leave everyone else? Well – there are paperbacks.
Or, if you’re tech savvy, you can use something like calibre to convert the kindle files to a format your nook uses.
Or, you can download the kindle app to your phone or tablet (it’s free) and read the books on there.
